Pet the Pet provides pet sitting, dog walking, transportation and house sitting. You can find what each service entails here.

Pet sitting visits normally last 15 minutes but can be expanded to 30 minutes. Dog walks normally last 30 minutes but can be expanded to 60 minutes. House visits last as long as needed, normally 10-15 minutes and transportation services last as long as required if a waiting period is needed. You can find detailed information on timings here.

Yes, Pet the Pet is insured through company insurance.

In the case of a new client, a first meet-up is needed as well as the completion of a simple questionnaire which we will do together. The questionnaire will be the basis of a service agreement, if you choose Pet the Pet. 

Important information includes list of any specific needs of the pet, the contact of its/their veterinarian and vaccine bulletin. Some pets that experience significant health issues, a written authorization for vet care/payment may be required, so that I can best take care of your pet(s) while you’re away.  

Yes, Pet the Pet is qualified to administer oral medication (eg tablets, drops) and topical care (eg. application of ointments).

For individual visits, the full charge will apply if the service is cancelled less than 24h before the scheduled appointment.

For retainer clients, with a monthly retainer, cancellation of the service will require a 15-day heads up.

For individual visits, 48h is normally needed. For retainer visits or long periods, one week is normally necessary.

Pet the Pet has its own vehicle, designed to meet the needs of pet transportation. The back of our van has pet seat belts, cages if owners so prefer (or in the case of simultaneous walks) and ventilation so that air circulation is healthy and adequately warm or cool depending on the weather.
